Atlas Impact Resistant Shingle Roof Replacement in Oxford WI

We just wrapped up a full roof replacement on this Oxford, WI home and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The homeowner went with Atlas Impact Resistant shingles in Pewter - a cool, neutral gray that works really well with the home's existing siding color. The whole roof just ties together cleanly.

Here's why the shingle choice matters. Not all shingles are built the same. Atlas Impact Resistant shingles are specifically engineered to hold up against hail, high winds, and whatever else Wisconsin weather decides to throw at a roof. For a home in central Wisconsin, that's not a small thing. Storms roll through this area hard, and a standard shingle can start showing damage after just one or two rough seasons.

What we love about this install is how clean the finished product looks up close. Every course is tight and uniform. The ridge cap lays flat and straight. The valley cuts are sharp. That kind of detail work matters because sloppy installation - even with a premium shingle - leads to problems down the road. Leaks don't usually start because a shingle failed. They start because the install was rushed.

The Pewter color is a solid pick for this style of home. It's not too dark, not too light - it sits right in the middle and gives the exterior a polished, finished look without overpowering anything. You can see how it complements the gray siding and white trim without competing with either one. Small detail, but it makes a big difference in curb appeal.

Atlas shingles are a product we stand behind for good reason. The impact resistance rating gives homeowners real protection and can even factor into insurance premiums in some cases. If your roof is getting up there in age or you've had storm damage, this is the kind of upgrade that pays for itself over time.
